Summary: I booked this hotel because it was close to my son college and based on the reviews and the photos posted of the hotel. Let me say the photos should be updated. This is not what i expected of a Hilton brand hotel. This hotel needs a lot of attention and upgrades. The room itself had a lot of rust in it. The vent covers were falling off, paint was piling in places. My kids found someone nasty boxer briefs stuck in the pullout couch. The extra blanket in the closet was rough old and gross looking. The room across from us was missing thw peep hole so people could literally look through the door into the room. We found a huge dead tree roach in the hallway. One of the things that i was most disappointed in was no free continental breakfast. Some pros the bar lobby area was nice, location was good and safe, walnut warm cookies were good, and check in was quick and easy.

Summary: A friend and I were I. Huntsville for a conference. We appreciated the convenience and ambience of the Double Tree. The staff members were particularly welcoming and helpful.

Summary: Poorly functioning shower/curtain properly positioned but 2/3 of bathroom floor was flooded with water after a 5 minute shower. This is a real safety issue. Closet doors very difficult to open (stuck at top), and in-room safe not level and door kept swinging open preventing closure of one of the closet doors. All reported to desk at checkout. Clean, quiet room with excellent bed.
